Friday Only - Rumble at the Ruckus
Join us on Friday afternoon for a Rumble at the Ruckus! This is a great way to get warm up for the weekend. We’ll start at Approximately 3:00 pm and run until 6:00pm. RUMBLE RULES: Dogs must be at least 6 months old to participate. The entry fee is $5.00 per 2 consecutive runs, and you can enter as many times as you like. The top two fastest times will win prizes, which will be awarded during the Friday night Pizza dinner. Please note - only the FIRST run will be counted toward the highpoint in Brush Hunt.

An interactive course will be set up with natural obstacles and a quarry in a tube. The judge will stop the clock when your dog successfully finds the tube. You can encourage your dog verbally, but no hand signals are allowed. The dog must locate the tube to qualify for the competition. The maximum time allowed is 2 minutes. You may run as many times as you would like, but only your fastest time from your dog’s first run will count towards the top two fastest times of the day.

Urban Warfare is an above-ground hunting simulation held in a fenced area. Quarry is hidden within the brush area. The challenge is for the terrier to use natural instincts to successfully locate and work the quarry. Terrier must work to find the quarry in the shortest amount of time. The clock starts when the judge is ready and signals you to release your dog at the gate. All four paws must be on the ground before you release your dog. The judge stops the clock when your dog has found the quarry. You do not enter with the dog but you can encourage your dog verbally. No hand signals allowed. Urban Warfare is an above-ground hunting simulation held in a fenced area. Quarry is hidden within the brush area. The challenge is for the terrier to use natural instincts to successfully locate and work the quarry. Terrier must work to find the quarry in the shortest amount of time. The clock starts when the judge is ready and signals you to release your dog at the gate. All four paws must be on the ground before you release your dog. The judge stops the clock when your dog has found the quarry. You do not enter with the dog but you can encourage your dog verbally. No hand signals allowed. Level 2 target odors will be two (2) scents only, chosen at the judge's discretion from birch, anise, and clove. A Level 1 title is not required to enter Level 2 classes.
